    Description

Up for bid is an original 5 page hand written letter written from a US Army soldier in Okinawa to his fiancé back home. He served as part of the 110th engineer battalion. The letter is dated July 23rd 1945 which was during the battle of Okinawa. I did not read through the entire letter, but he does mention about having to drive a jeep. This truly is an amazing piece of history, knowing that this very letter was in the hands of this soldier over 75 years ago during one of the most important battles of WWII!
The pages and envelope are in good shape for their age. No rips or tears at all. All of the pages are still very readable. Don't miss your change to own this amazing piece of history!
