    Condition:  The case is in sound condition - some scratches, hinges work well, please look at photo #5, box originally had a "helper hinge" that was removed before I got the chest.   This box is fun the way it is, an excellent candidate for painting and decorating if the buyer wants to turn a nice, clean, sound, lined box into a decorative inspiration.  The velvety fabric is intact, with little wear, could use a hit with a lint roller or a hand vacuum.   Please see photos which show condition accurately.
    Uses:
    The case will function perfectly as a flatware storage box for stainless steel or silverplate.  If you choose to remove the dividers in the box, it will be wonderful for many uses.  If you strip the inside fabric out, this would be a great candidate for upcycle as one of the terrific ideas found on Pinterest - memo wall cabinet, jewelry box, paint box, box for momentoes, organizing mail and/or receipts, or remote control, etc.
