Williams System 11 Pinball Soundboard tester v1.3 PCB v1 D-11581,D-11297,C-11029

Description

This PCB is used to test a Williams Pinball soundboard. It can be used on a bench or in the pinball machine. A matching MPU with EPROM's is not required. On a bench, 12+V,12-V,5+V, speaker, volume switch, is required. Within the machine, detach the 20pin IDC ribbon cable and connect this directly to the sound board.
This is Version 1.3 of the tester. It performs the same tests as Version 1 and 1.2 but does not require a cable. It has an
additional 4.7Kohm pull-up resistor that can be connected to 5VDC. This guarantees that the signal is held at logic high until the PIA grounds the signal. This allows to test soundboards that do not have the SRC installed natively like the
D-11297 (Like High Speed) and C-11029 (Like Pinbot).

The alligator clip wires for 5V and Ground that connect to the terminals are NOT included.
This was tested on a
D-11581, C-11297, and C-11029 soundboard. It may also work with other soundboards that connect with a 20 pin IDC cable.
