    Description

    Vintage LILLY Pharmaceutical Apothecary  ceramic jar.
    These jars were given out by Eli Lilly pharmaceutical reps in the 1970's.
    The jar measures approximately 5 1/4" tall including the lid. It is a promotion of a pain medication Darvocet. The LILLY logo is printed on the back.  Gray in color with the surface made to look old (with crackling paint).  There are no actual cracks. Trimmed with gold. On the inner side of the lid, there is an unglazed rim that has some roughness. Appears to be a factory flaw. Otherwise, the  jar is in excellent condition
