    I have never used it other then to display it in the dining room. It DOES WORK. The inside metal blades do have a little bit of rust that i'd guess would come out with steel wool. Leaving that up to high bidder.
    The handle & blades turn as they should. Some fog in glass from age. This is exactly how it was when I purchased it at an estate sale about 20 years ago.
