Vintage Military Book Club Poster, WWI - 1918 Ernest Hamlin Baker Print. This is a reproduction print made as a promotional item for the Military Book Club in the mid 1960's. Ernest Hamlin Baker is the artist and it originally was produced in 1918, near the end of the Great War. The poster promotes some of the organizations doing 'Behind the Scenes' war work; Salvation Army, YMCA, American Library Association, etc. The poster has never been hung, or if it was it was in a frame. It has a dull finish, printed on medium weight poster paper. It has some slight ridges from being rolled not quite perfect, but no creases, even the edges are very good. Measures 16" x 20" to outside edges, printed size is about 13 3/8" x 19 3/8".
