VINTAGE CIBA OLD LABEL BOTTLES 875

Description

Ciba was one of the Switzerland companies that formed a cartel monopolizing all pharmaceuticals in that country and part of Europe. It sold its products in United States under the name of CIBA pharmaceutical products Inc., Summit, New Jersey. It did not combine with Geigy company until 1970 Forming the CIBA – Geigy company, that name being added to the label.
Pyribenzamine is a long-standing product of CIBA, one of the first but very effective antihistamines that could be used for rashes, itching, and even some breathing problems. This complete 25 mg bottle and 50 mg long-acting tablet bottle are both of the very old type of CIBA labeling probably from the 1950s or early 60s.
