    Description

    This is a very well made older reproduction of a WW1 era Romanian General's kepi in excellent condition. It stands 4 inches tall and measures 21 inches around inside.
    The last photo is of General
    Constantin Prezan. Although not included in this offering, it is here for your enjoyment.
    Prezan was born in Butimanu in Dambovita and commanded the 4th Army Corps and the 4th Army in 1916 during World War I. In November's Battle of Bucharest, Prezan commanded the Romanian army, and in July and August 1917 he repelled August von Mackensen's invasion. From then until 1920 he was Chief of the General Staff of Romania and was made a Field Marshal in 1930. For his role in battles in Transylvania, Bessarabia, and Bukovina, he was given the Mihai Viteazu Order, First Class title.
