Desk pens are not often offered for sale, as fewer were handed out than the more common pocket clip pens. Desk pens were typically utilized for patient sign-in and most were discarded after they stopped writing or became damaged.
The metal pen features a rubber grip and
Twist
to extend and retract. Also, the pen uses a screw-in style refill with a similar appearance to
Cross Pen
refills. Actual compatibility with Cross refills is not known.
Two Pens--Not Tested--Not Guaranteed to Write
The majority of advertising pens were made in China and did not write well or not for very long. It is
not recommended
to purchase these pens for writing, however,
sometimes
it is possible to find
similar or identical
replacement refills at office supply stores. There are some
universal
refills that
snap off
to different lengths or feature assorted spacers to change the length. Typically, the replacement refills write better and for longer than the original.
