BUYER is responsible for doing their own research to ensure they are buying the
    correct
part(s) for their speakers, application, or DIY project.  And... for
judging whether part(s) is compatible with their speaker's specs !
Once purchased, the order will NOT be canceled for any reason, and there are
    NO RETURNS!
For sale is a pair of 5.25" IMG (Injection Molded Graphite) MID-WOOFERS removed from an Infinity "Sterling Video" center channel speaker.  They work perfectly and are in excellent cosmetic shape...EXCEPT the foam surrounds have dry-rotted as expected, due to age.  They will need new foam surrounds installed before using on a regular basis.  The "Sterling Video" model is basically identical to the "Video 1" model... I think the back of mid-woofers have a different part #, and not sure if Video 1 speaker is video-shielded with the main magnet covered like these.. I think they are.  The cabinets are definitely the same dimensions so I see no reason these could not also serve as replacements for the Video-1 center speaker, and possibly some other Infinity speaker models?  Includes original install screws.
From the Infinity "Sterling Video" Technical Manual, the part # for these is shown as 902-5621... which is a common format for Infinity drivers (starting with a 902-).  The actual part # seen ink-stamped on the back of these magnet covers has a different # and format... 307851-001.  I can only guess a couple of reasons... maybe Infinity changed this part # in their later production runs, OR...  it's possible that this longer part # is only for the magnet's shielded COVER, and that underneath it, the old part # from the Tech Manual would be seen?  I really don't think there's any electronic differences.
I have installed new surrounds on woofers from MANY brands/models/series of loudspeakers (1000+), and am a perfectionist with the job...no sloppy glue or VC rubbing, and I rarely have to cut out or replace the dustcap, to center the cone. Buyer can either buy these mid-woofers AS-IS, needing surrounds/repair for the listed BIN price... OR... as an option, buyer can hire me to do the refoam job and make these "like new" for an additional (parts & labor).  Anyone who has ever refoamed some of Infinity's IMG type woofers knows it is a hard, tedious task to first remove the outer plastic trim ring to access the frame. It is tightly glued onto frame, and must be heated, then glue slowly/carefully cut with an exacto knife in order to loosen and remove outer plastic ring.  I have a pair of new, dark charcoal gray, 5.25" foam surrounds ready to use.
If interested in having me refoam these before selling/shipping, buyer must message me BEFORE purchase so I can revise the BIN price and description !
If bought before sending a message, buyer will have bought these AS-IS, woofers needing new surrounds and I will NOT do the work or cancel the order etc... so take the time to carefully READ and understand this listing and terms BEFORE buying !!!
Ask any and all questions BEFORE buying!
After buyer has left positive feedback to acknowledge everything OK, I will immediately return the favor.
