Description

Carnauba T-1 (palm) wax
is used for making craft products like candles, and
creating personal care items like deodorants, hair products, lipstick, lip balms, and facial creams due to it's emollient properties. It helps thicken & soften these products.
It
can be combined with other waxes to create fine polishes and finishes for cars, wood crafts, etc.
T-1 Carnauba wax
is produced and sold in different grades, and T1 is the highest quality and purity available.
It is a pale yellow, lighter in color compared to other grades.
A hard brittle wax (known as the hardest natural wax), in small flake form, it has a light characteristic aroma w
hen melted, a faint, very pleasing scent
reminiscent
of a hayfield in the hot summer sun.
It's best to mix this natural vegetable wax with another wax (usually a 50/50 blend) for candle making, and use a slightly larger than normal, or a high temp, wick.
Melting temperature exceeds 180* F (for comparison, beeswax is 145*F)
