Candelilla wax comes from the leaves of the Candelilla shrub native to northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is yellow to yellowish-brown and hard, brittle, aromatic, with opaque to translucent color.
This vegan - vegetable wax is very hard and can be used as a substitute for beeswax or carnauba wax in candle making.
Perfect for candle making, is also used
as a stabilizer & emulsifier
for lip balms, creams, salves, lotions, etc.
