Rare and highly collectible vintage apothecary pharmacy painting entitled "The Druggist"
Featuring scenes of a physician administering medication and a pharmacist in an apothecary setting
This piece is unsigned, however a replica of the painting was used by Owens Bottle Company / drug bottling company in 1940s advertising
Owens distributed a 17" x 21" lithograph of this painting as a giveaway and attributed the artwork to "Westland"
This piece is larger (measures 26" x 30.5" in the frame) and appears to be oil or similar textured medium on board
We have found no additional information regarding the artist
No odors, painting was very soiled and has been cleaned though retains some soil, there is some warp to the board and water damage evident from back, one small crack on right

Despite imperfections, this piece will display very nicely
