Description
Original 1970s Advent woofer with masonite ring in very nice shape.I purchased a single Advent Large speaker for a needed tweeter and now selling the woofer from the speaker.
The foam looks like it has been replaced on this woofer and it checks out good with Ohm meter. Selling this woofer AS IS/PARTS. I directly hooked up the woofer (not through the cabinet crossover network) to a receiver to test and it has sound however there is a little rubbing sound when the speaker cone moves.
Based on what I read, the issue is more than likely caused by the
foam being incorrectly (not centered) installed??
I do not have a need for it so thought I would offer it up to someone that has a need.
