15" 583975 AlNiCo WOOFER SPEAKER from Magnavox Console Stereo (AMP 175 FF / 6L6)

For sale is a single, 15" AlNiCo WOOFER / SPEAKER in perfect working condition and very good cosmetic shape.  Was removed from a 1959 vintage Magnavox 1-SR294F Radio/Phonograph console.  It and other speakers in console were powered by an "AMP 175 FF" tube amp using 6L6 output tubes.  I left over 12" of original lead wires attached to speaker so buyer should have plenty of length to splice these leads with their amps leads if desired.  Part # is 583975 and EIA code is 232 8 46.  Considered as an 8-ohm "nominal impedance" speaker & system, the actual/resting DCR measures about 5.3 ohms as expected.  Cone in great shape.. there was one tiny tear in outer-most surround area near a screw-hole, but I was able to apply a tad of flexible, clear-drying speaker glue to back side of tear and sealed/mended it very well.  I also touched just a dab on front side for insurance.  Cone integrity is not compromised at all, and speaker plays great !  BUYER is responsible for ensuring they are buying correct woofer/part for their needs !
