    Since 1990, I have enjoyed collecting and restoring antique radios and vintage audio.... all items I list will be exactly as described and packed extra well to ensure a safe delivery.. buy with confidence !

    For sale is a single 4" WOOFER removed from an Optimus PRO 7 loudspeaker from 1993.  Tested and plays perfectly, and in excellent cosmetic shape!  Part # is 12114. Has a butyl rubber surround that doesn't deteriorate like foam surrounds.  Based on MY research, and looking at several Minimus and Optimus speaker models, and their woofer models... I feel confident that this woofer could serve as a good replacement for several Realistic, Minimus and Optimus speaker models that use a NON-video-shielded, 8 ohm, 4" woofer.  Often times, RadioShack just used different part #s to uniquely identify what speaker model the same type woofer would be used in.  Although this woofer doesn't have the extra magnet found in the "video shielded" speaker models like the Optimus PRO 7AV, I don't see why it couldn't make a good replacement for the various AV models as long as the faceplate and screw-hole dimensions are the same, and the terminal posts/clips on tweeters are also same, with the neg/- post being slim and the pos/+ post being wider.
